Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their warm and friendly team based in Berkshire. You will be joining a team of 17, made up of 4 vets, 3 nurses, 2 student nurses, 3 VCA’s, 4 receptionists and a practice manager.
You will have access to all of the excellent facilities including an operating theatre, X-ray machine, ultrasound machine and dental machine, as well as the support of an established and welcoming team, keen to nurture your skills and help you develop and grow with the business.
You will enjoy building strong relationships with patients and clients and you will be happy to support your fellow team members when necessary in this hands-on role. They offer longer than average sick animal consultation slots to enable comprehensive work-up without excessive time pressure. Each vet has a day allocated to surgery so you can follow through cases. The role can be full-time or part-time. Our clients' vet team work varying patterns contributing to a 7-day schedule but they can be flexible around the look of the rota to be mutually advantageous for both parties.
