Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy 24-hour hospital on a part-time basis. The position offers up to 20 hours per week, with flexible day shifts of approximately eight to ten hours and participation in the out-of-hours rota. The successful applicant will work within a well-equipped first-opinion hospital, managing consultations, routine procedures, emergency cases and inpatient care. Some sole-charge work will also be required at a nearby branch clinic, making this role particularly suitable for a confident vet who enjoys clinical independence and continuity of care.

Qualifications Needed:

  • MRCVS registration and substantial small animal experience
  • Confidence working in sole charge and managing urgent cases
  • Willingness to support recently qualified veterinary colleagues
  • A strong commitment to inpatient and emergency patient care
  • A valid UK driving licence
