Our client is seeking a Small Animal Registered Vet Nurse to join a welcoming coastal practice on a 16-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role offers a varied mix of nurse clinics, theatre work, inpatient care, and reception duties within a modern small animal setting.
The position would suit an RVN who enjoys being hands-on across different areas of practice while working within a supportive and sociable team. With no out-of-hours, bank holidays closed, and a manageable Saturday rota, this opportunity offers a strong work-life balance in a desirable South Coast location.
Qualifications- RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse status is required
- Confident carrying out varied nursing duties across clinics, theatre, and inpatient care
- Friendly and adaptable approach to client and patient support
- Able to work well within a close and collaborative team
- Interest in continued development and using nursing skills fully
- 16-month fixed-term maternity cover contract starting June 2026
- Full-time role across 38 hours per week
- 1:4 Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 1:00pm
- No out-of-hours requirement
- Closed on bank holidays
- 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
- £600 CPD allowance provided per year
- Additional qualifications and certificates encouraged and funded
