Our client is seeking an Equine Veterinarian to join a well-established mixed veterinary setting with a strong equine caseload and excellent clinical backing. This full-time position is ideal for a vet who enjoys variety, independence, and the opportunity to manage cases across ambulatory and facility-based equine work. The role offers access to modern equipment, experienced colleagues, and a balanced rota designed to protect personal time after on-call duties. It would suit an MRCVS-qualified veterinarian who is confident with equine medicine and keen to develop further in a supportive, progressive clinical environment.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied equine caseload across routine and more involved clinical work
- Carrying out ambulatory visits with access to strong diagnostic support
- Contributing to shared out-of-hours cover with protected recovery time
- Working closely with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality patient care
- Using modern equipment to support investigations, treatment planning, and case follow-up
Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS registration or eligibility to register is required
- Previous equine clinical experience would be highly valued
- Confidence working independently while knowing when to collaborate
- A practical, calm, and client-focused approach to veterinary care
- Strong interest in equine medicine, diagnostics, and ongoing development
