Our client is seeking a confident Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a friendly first-opinion team in a varied clinical role. This opportunity would suit a vet who enjoys a busy small animal caseload, values collaborative working, and is comfortable taking ownership of both medical and surgical cases. The position offers exposure to orthopaedic surgery, dental imaging, medicine referrals, visiting specialists, and a student-focused environment. With no out-of-hours requirement and support for further qualifications, this role provides a strong balance of clinical development, case variety, and day-to-day support.
Qualifications Needed
- RCVS registration or eligibility to register as a Veterinary Surgeon in the UK
- Confident small animal GP experience across consultations, diagnostics, and surgery
- Comfortable with some sole charge when required
- Interest in continued learning, certificate study, or mentoring would be welcomed
- Strong communication skills with a practical, client-focused approach
