Job Description
Our client is seeking a full‑time Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to take on a key clinical role within a growing small animal practice. This position is ideal for a confident nurse who enjoys supporting high standards, helping develop nurse‑led services, and contributing to the smooth running of day‑to‑day patient care.
The role offers a varied workload across consult support, procedures, admissions, discharges, patient monitoring, and Schedule 3 activities. You will be part of a supportive clinical setting with the opportunity to help strengthen client relationships, guide standards, and play an active part in practice development.
Responsibilities
- Delivering nurse‑led appointments and supporting Schedule 3 procedures
- Monitoring inpatients and coordinating admissions and discharges
- Assisting with consults, surgeries, and clinical procedures
- Maintaining excellent patient care and clear client communication
- Working flexibly with the wider team across nearby practice needs when required
Qualifications
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
- Confident in senior nursing duties and clinical standards
- Strong patient care skills with a calm, organised approach
- Team‑focused attitude with the ability to support colleagues
- Comfortable contributing to a shared weekend and OOH rota
Package
- Salary package includes London weighting
- Full‑time 40‑hour week across 5 days
