Who we are: A veterinarian recruitment platform based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. We are active globally in the USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and Canada with clients including multinational corporate chains and independent private veterinary businesses.

Key Elements of the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the interviewing and recruitment of candidates within the Veterinary Sector.
- Identifying needs: Understanding the specific requirements of a client.
- Candidate sourcing: Actively searching for potential candidates through various channels.
- Screening candidates: Reviewing resumes and conducting initial phone interviews.
- Candidate assessment: Conducting in-depth interviews, skills testing, and reference checks.
- Advising candidates: On the visa, qualifications and experience required for each role.
- Shortlisting candidates: Presenting a curated list of qualified candidates to the client.
- Managing the hiring process: Coordinating interviews, providing feedback to candidates, and facilitating the offer process.
- Market knowledge & Marketing: Staying updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks and so on.
- Relationship building and business development: Maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates.
- AI: Using our proprietary AI systems and technology to support research, recruitment and productivity.
Criteria:
- Experience: Minimum one year's professional work experience. We are looking for an intelligent, disciplined and resilient individual with strong communication skills, high personal standards and the ability to learn quickly. Previous recruitment or sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Qualifications: Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience. You must be a driver with access to a vehicle.
- Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential. You must be comfortable communicating with professionals and senior individuals by telephone, video and in writing. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a high standard of written English independently and without reliance on AI tools.
- Active listening: Ability to actively listen to understand the motivations of both parties.
- Relationship building: Building strong rapport and trust with clients and candidates.
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or experience in a sales environment and utilising CRM Software.
- IT & AI: Strong IT, Design and AI skills.
- Sales and negotiation skills: Negotiating terms and closing deals with candidates and clients.
- Market knowledge: An ability to understand and learn industry trends, salary benchmarks, and the competitive landscape.
- Sourcing strategies: Utilizing various channels to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Prioritization and time management: Managing multiple processes simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the recruitment process.
- Presentation skills: Ability to deliver compelling presentations to clients.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with colleagues to achieve recruitment goals.
