Our client is seeking a dedicated Small Animal Night Vet Nurse to join a busy hospital out-of-hours team in Bridgwater. This role would suit a confident RVN who enjoys emergency nursing, inpatient care, anaesthesia, and supporting urgent cases during overnight shifts.
The position offers a varied caseload including trauma, toxin ingestion, blocked bladders, GDVs, caesareans, and critical inpatient monitoring. Working alongside a night vet and twilight support colleague, this role provides a structured night rota, strong team support, and the chance to make a meaningful impact during emergency care.
Qualifications Needed
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse status is required
- Confident working in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Able to support anaesthesia, inpatient care, and emergency admissions
- Strong communication skills with a calm and practical approach
- Genuine interest in small animal emergency and critical care nursing
