Job Details:
Our client are looking for a vet to join their friendly first opinion practice. Their team consists of three veterinary surgeons and they are supported by six registered veterinary nurses, four veterinary care assistants, seven receptionists, and their practice manager. In addition, six of their team have over 10 years' service with them.
Not only will you become a member of their team, but also part of four other locally owned surgeries with a pool of over 20 veterinary surgeons with various interests between them. Their practice is built to industry leading standards and includes standard and dental digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, four consulting rooms, individual cat, dog and isolation wards, and an onsite operating theatre.
They would be happy to consider both full or part-time roles for the right candidate with full-time being 40 hours per week. Weekends are currently 1 in 3 and are on a rota basis.
The ideal candidate must:
- Be able to deliver excellent patient and client care
- Have a desire to learn and develop his/her skills (skill development is positively encouraged and supported by a generous CPD budget)
- Be a strong team player
- Be able to contribute to the growth of the practice
Package:
- 5.5 weeks holiday including bank holidays, increasing to 6.5 weeks after 2 years of service
