The predicted salary is between 24300 - 29700 Β£ per year.

Our client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an experienced nursing team within a well-equipped, RCVS-accredited small animal practice. This full-time position follows a 40-hour week across five days, although a four-day arrangement may also be considered, with no scheduled out-of-hours duties.

The role rotates through wards, theatre, consultations, pharmacy work and surgical preparation, providing broad involvement across the nursing service. Nurses are encouraged to use their full clinical skill set, including Schedule 3 procedures, while hydrotherapy training can be provided for applicants interested in rehabilitation and pain-management services.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering attentive inpatient care and monitoring clinical progress
  • Preparing patients, equipment and theatre areas for surgical procedures
  • Running nurse consultations and supporting preventative healthcare
  • Completing pharmacy duties and maintaining accurate treatment records
  • Assisting with hydrotherapy and rehabilitation services where appropriate
