Location: London UK Position: Veterinary Surgeon Our client is a wellestablished veterinary practice in London dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to animals. Job Description: As a Veterinary Surgeon you will play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our patients. Your responsibilities will include: Consultations: Conducting routine checkups vaccinations and consultations for various animal species. Diagnostics: Performing physical examinations laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging procedures. Treatments: Administering medications performing minor surgeries and providing appropriate treatments for illnesses and injuries. Surgery: Assisting in or performing surgical procedures including spays neuters and other surgeries. Emergency Care: Handling emergency cases and providing critical care when necessary. Client Education: Providing clear and informative advice to clients regarding animal care preventative measures and disease prevention. Teamwork: Collaborating with other veterinary professionals including veterinary nurses technicians and receptionists to ensure efficient and effective patient care. Qualifications: Veterinary Medicine Degree: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification. Registration: Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Experience: Previous experience in veterinary practice while not essential is preferred. Skills: Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills. A strong commitment to animal welfare and a passion for veterinary medicine.
