Overview
Research prints and graphics for speed‑to‑market and long‑lead womenswear items across multiple categories – Jersey, Wovens and Nightwear. Produce print‑focused trend boards, catwalk reports and shop reports, and work closely with buying teams to create cohesive, saleable prints and graphics. Advise technical and factory teams on techniques and colours, source from the supply base and build strong supplier relationships. Respond to sales information to design commercially relevant, fashion‑forward graphics and prints with the customer in mind.
Responsibilities
- Research prints and graphics for speed‑to‑market and long‑lead items across womenswear categories.
- Create trend boards, catwalk reports and shop reports.
- Collaborate with buying teams to ensure prints and graphics are cohesive and saleable.
- Advise factories on techniques and colour choices.
- Source and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Use sales data to design commercially relevant graphics.
Qualifications
- Assistant or Junior Designer experience within a womenswear team focused on print and graphics.
- Detail‑oriented understanding of the womenswear design process, especially Jersey and Wovens.
- Strong presentation skills and confidence presenting designs in meetings.
- Knowledge of printing techniques and fabrics, and ability to translate them onto product.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, hand‑painting and drawing.
- Knowledge of AI‑assisted print processes.
- Capacity to create clear, detailed print and graphic packs for the supply chain.
- Ability to translate initial concepts into commercial designs.
