You'll combine precision, trend insight, and a strong eye for brand aesthetics to create a consistent, recognisable look that elevates everything we produce. • Act as the 'face' of Beauty at Very by creating channel-relevant digital content in partnership with our brand teams.
  • Develop a cohesive and consistent "Very" signature style across all shoots.
  • Create daily H&M briefs for all models, brief freelance artists, and sign off final looks.
  • Work with the wider shoot team to keep the day running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Give and receive constructive feedback in a positive, professional way.
  • Stay ahead of upcoming trends, influencers, TikTok and Instagram content, and competitor activity.
  • Attend relevant courses to keep your skills and knowledge sharp.
  • Maintain your kit and equipment to the highest standard.
  • Partner with the Art Director to help define and evolve Very's brand identity.
  • Keep up-to-date with new models, new faces, and emerging industry talent.
  • Spot and develop junior hair and make-up artists with potential.
  • Understand how lighting impacts skin tones and make-up outcomes during shoots.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to last-minute changes while maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications:

  • Maintain excellent personal grooming and hygiene at all times.
  • Deep knowledge of professional hair and make-up products, techniques and trends.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced studio or fashion-led environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital and social channels, including the type of content that performs.
  • Ability to create clear, inspiring briefs and moodboards (experience with design tools preferable).
  • A collaborative mindset and confidence working with photographers, creatives and freelancers.
  • A future-focused approach to beauty and style.
  • A portfolio that shows your creativity, versatility and eye for detail.
