Part‑time Receptionist
About the Role
The Receptionist role is key to ensuring safety controls and daily operations run smoothly. The role is to cover reception on Mondays and Tuesdays, however flexibility is needed to cover holidays and sickness absence where required.
Working pattern: Monday and Tuesday 8am - 4pm.
Responsibilities
- Act as a focal point for all day‑to‑day operations, contact and information
- Maintain security awareness and work alongside other members of the Security team
- Effectively deal with all enquiries and visitor interactions at the front desk and contact colleagues when visitors arrive
- Control access and egress
- Answer incoming calls or internal calls from both colleagues and visitors
- Receive and pass on mail deliveries to the relevant individuals
- Assist in meeting room bookings and scheduling
- Respond to alarms and act in accordance with emergency procedures
- Maintain all records related to reception duties
- Provide administration support for the Fulfilment Centre Leadership Team
- Perform ad‑hoc administration and support tasks, where required, to support the wider site
Qualifications
This is a super important role to our site, greeting all visitors and representing The Very Group as the first point of contact to those visiting our site. You will have prior experience working as a receptionist at a busy site, comfortable with handling multiple priorities and duties at one time.

- Attention to detail and accuracy on all aspects of the role are essential
