This role is responsible for overseeing the design and licensing of all characters and designs sold at The Very Group. You will collaborate with external brands and licensees to create product ranges, manage licensing processes, and handle clothing and footwear licensed products for children and adults.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the Character & License category within Kidswear.
- Manage strategic brand relationships and stakeholder engagement.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and consumer drivers to inform strategy.
- Develop a 6-24 month roadmap translating strategy into actionable plans.
- Represent The Very Group in supplier meetings and negotiations.
- Align category strategies with wider business initiatives to maximize growth.
- Coach and develop direct reports, fostering career growth.
