About the team
Supporting the financial operations of the TVG Fulfilment centres (located in East Midlands and Wrexham), with a primary base in the East Midlands. They are responsible for the accuracy of financial reporting and information by ensuring accurate recording of transactions and records.
About the role
- Responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including month-end reporting
- Responsible for the accurate recording of transactions in the general ledger and the completion of balance sheet reconciliations
- Build relationships with other departments to support the Operational Fulfilment team with financial queries
- Monitor and communicate performance against Budgets and Targets with Operational teams, providing analysis and insight
- Create, maintain and automate reports
- Assist with preparation of financial analysis and presentations
About you
- An understanding of double entry book keeping is required, ideally working towards AAT or other accounting qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of Excel is a key requirement
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment and tight time constraints, with accuracy and attention to detail
- A proactive self-starter and team player, able to work independently while building strong, productive relationships across functions with confidence and ease
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads effectively across multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills with a curious, analytical mindset
