About the Role
The Business Change Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective adoption of change across the organization, aligned with the organization\’s OKRs and the portfolio of change. This role is responsible for developing and executing change plans that support the overall delivery strategy, ensuring seamless adoption and long-term sustainability of changes within TVG.
Where there is a need, as part of change plans, to adopt new systems, processes or procedures, the business change manager plays a critical role, taking stakeholders on the journey and supporting successful adoption and handover of the change into business as usual (BAU).
The role involves fostering a culture of continuous improvement, promoting best practices, and spearheading the adoption of new tools, systems and processes to enhance project outcomes.
The business change manager will work closely with the delivery team and business at all levels, overlaying key milestones onto the overall delivery plan, interlocking dependencies, and highlighting key risks and issues.
Effective stakeholder management and communication is an essential part of the role. The business change manager will need to engage impacted stakeholders, support them through the change curve and ensure impacted teams and individuals have effective plans and strategies for managing the change.
Key Responsibilities
Initiation
- Conduct thorough impact assessments at the inception of initiatives to identify business change impacts.
- Engage relevant teams to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Utilize impact assessment data to derive change plans and support the development of overall initiative plans by overlaying change milestones.
- Inform business case development with impact assessment data, understanding resourcing costs and benefit realisation timelines.
Execution
- Implement change management strategies to maximize project outcomes and benefits.
- Develop and deliver clear communication plans to inform stakeholders about the change, its benefits, and its impact.
- Identify training needs and resources required to support colleagues in adopting the change.
- Identify potential risks and issues associated with the change and develop mitigating strategies.
- Provide clarity on timescales and levels of change to impacted colleagues and functions, as well as other involved parties.
- Support the design of new processes or updates required to existing processes and procedures to accommodate the change.
- Support the requirements gathering for user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support the identification of end business users/SMEs to perform user acceptance testing.
- Continuously monitor business change elements post go-live during the Hypercare/warranty period and drive activity to resolve any issues raised.
- Ensure smooth transition from current state to desired state and sign off that the change can be handed to ‘business as usual’ (BAU).
Closure
- Identify key success criteria to accept the change into business as usual.
- Obtain sign-off from business stakeholders and accountable leads.
- Conduct lessons learned reviews and adopt a continuous improvement mindset for future change.

- Proven track record in executing large-scale change initiatives within complex organizations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to simplify complex processes and communicate effectively to influence and lead stakeholders through change.
- Excellent organizational skills and diligence, especially under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong and engaging communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages appropriately to all audience levels.
- Active listening skills to ensure accurate capture and understanding of information.
- Proficiency in creating engaging presentations and written communications that convey information clearly and succinctly.
- Expertise in relationship management at varying levels of seniority.
- Ability to influence and lead through problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using Jira/Confluence, Microsoft tools, and process mapping software like Miro.
- Strong skills in MS Office.
- Preferred qualifications in change management, project management, or continuous improvement..
