As F&B Assistant, you play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities involve supporting the day-to-day operations of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, and assisting in setting up for events. You will work closely with the F&B team to provide seamless, efficient, and friendly service, enhancing the guest experience.

Guest Service & Satisfaction:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival in the dining area or restaurant.
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service, responding to guest requests and inquiries efficiently.
  • Provide detailed information about the menu, and make recommendations when appropriate.
  • Ensure the dining areas are clean, well-stocked, and prepared for service.
  • Address any guest complaints or issues, escalating them to supervisors or management when necessary to ensure satisfaction.

Food & Beverage Service:

  • Always adhere to Company Allergen Management, Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures.
  • Assist with setting up tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing dishes in a timely manner.
  • Take orders accurately and deliver them to the kitchen or bar promptly.
  • Ensure that the presentation of food and beverages meets the hotel’s standards.
  • Assist in preparing simple food items or beverages when required (such as making coffee, preparing salads, etc.).
  • Handle billing and payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

Operations & Support:

  • Set up dining areas, meeting rooms, or event spaces as required for service or functions.
  • Support F&B team members during busy service periods, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
  • Assist in stock management by monitoring stock levels and informing supervisors of any shortages or reordering needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, including the kitchen, restaurant, and storeroom, adhering to Company hygiene standards and safety regulations.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with kitchen staff and F&B managers to ensure a coordinated effort in delivering high-quality service.
  • Participate in regular team briefings or meetings to stay informed about updates, service standards, and guest preferences and events.
  • Assist colleagues with their duties when required, fostering a positive and cooperative team environment.
