The Conference & Events assistant role involves a range of duties, including: ensuring conference and events rooms are set up to a high standard according to guest requirements before they arrive, servicing the rooms during their event and being ready to help to make sure the event runs smoothly on the day.
You'll also serve food and drinks as and when required.
From syndicate rooms to conferences, exhibitions private banqueting/dinners.

- Customer Services Assistant - Zero Hours - The Role
- Assist with the preparation and set-up of meeting rooms, event spaces, and equipment in line with client requirements and function sheets.
- Provide on-the-day support during conferences, meetings, banquets, and events to ensure smooth running.
- Handle event equipment such as microphones, projectors, flipcharts, AV systems, and ensure any issues are reported or resolved promptly.
- Welcome clients, delegates, and guests, offering assistance and information throughout their event.
- Work closely with the Conference and Events Manager and wider team to deliver high-quality service.
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and presentation of all event areas.
- Support with post-event breakdown, resetting rooms, and preparing spaces for the next function.
- Communicate effectively with other departments (kitchen, front office, housekeeping, AV) to ensure all aspects of events are delivered to standard.
- Adhere to health & safety, fire safety, and company policies at all times.
