We are currently looking to bring onboard a Housekeeper for Milton Hill House, part of The Venues Collection.

Location: Milton Hill House, Steventon, Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Reports to: Head Housekeeper / Housekeeping Manager

Working Pattern: Flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays

Rate: Β£12.60 an Hour

The Role

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that The Venues Collection is known for. You will ensure that guest bedrooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards, delivering a consistently excellent experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the brand standard
  • Ensure all housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and within given timeframes
  • Report maintenance issues and lost property promptly and accurately
  • Replenish amenities, linen and guest supplies as required
  • Maintain housekeeping trolleys and storage areas in a clean, safe, and organised condition
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Support deep-cleaning and other scheduled cleaning duties as needed
  • Demonstrate an eye for detail and pride in creating a welcoming environment

About You

  • A positive and proactive approach with a passion for hospitality
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Good time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible and reliable, with a β€˜can-do’ attitude
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential - full training will be provided
