We are currently looking to bring onboard a Housekeeper for Milton Hill House, part of The Venues Collection.
Location: Milton Hill House, Steventon, Abingdon, Oxfordshire
Reports to: Head Housekeeper / Housekeeping Manager
Working Pattern: Flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
Rate: £12.60 an Hour

The Role
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that The Venues Collection is known for. You will ensure that guest bedrooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards, delivering a consistently excellent experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the brand standard
- Ensure all housekeeping tasks are completed efficiently and within given timeframes
- Report maintenance issues and lost property promptly and accurately
- Replenish amenities, linen and guest supplies as required
- Maintain housekeeping trolleys and storage areas in a clean, safe, and organised condition
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Support deep-cleaning and other scheduled cleaning duties as needed
- Demonstrate an eye for detail and pride in creating a welcoming environment
About You
- A positive and proactive approach with a passion for hospitality
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexible and reliable, with a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential - full training will be provided
