We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Fleet Coordinator to join our client at their continually growing business in Thame. The Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for controlling and optimising the fleet of vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are compliant with regulations and enhancing operational efficiency for all deliveries.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the fleet of vehicles including regular fleet inspections for wear and tear and cleanliness.
- Scheduling regular maintenance and repairs developing plans to reduce cost implications whilst maintaining quality and safety.
- Ensuring all vehicles are compliant with all regulations.
- Maintaining company FORS accreditation together with audits, acting as the company’s FORS Champion.
- Working with the Logistics department with the co-ordination of the night drivers and deliveries ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Managing Abax and Fleetcheck platforms.
- Undertaking any vehicle changes and swaps with minimal disruption to the workforce.
- Acting as Counter Terrorism Champion for our client.
- Acting as the company’s Fuel and Emissions Champion for our client.
- Acting as Road Risk Champion for our client.
- Acting as Waste Champion for our client.
Key Skills:
- Experience in logistics or fleet management is essential.
- Good Vehicle Mechanical knowledge background is key.
- Previous experience in FORS scheme including undertaking regular audits would be advantageous.
- A methodical thinker with the ability to problem solve.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
- Ability to interpret data and understand KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Able to remain calm and work well under pressure in a busy, dynamic constantly changing environment.
- Willing to go the extra mile.
Additional Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Due to company vehicle insurance purposes candidates must be over 25 years old.

- Fleet Control: 2 years (required).
