Finance Manager Slough Basic £55K + Package The Company Our client is a global leader in two-way radio communications, developing and manufacturing innovative solutions to meet their varied customer requirements.
With a reputation for high-quality, reliable, feature-rich handsets and systems, our client can be found all over the world, from major Metro lines to the Etihad stadium, via North Sea oil rigs, railway networks, conference centres and construction sites.
The opportunity Were looking for a Finance Manager to join our clients leadership team, leading all aspects of finance and partnering closely with operations and commercial teams to drive performance and profitability both in the UK and part of their global HQ team.
Responsibilities Manage the finance operation and responsibility of a direct report.
Manage the monthly accounting close per deadlines.
Prepare and submit monthly management accounts.
Manage all monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Perform variance analysis and analysis.
Manage internal financial controls and prepare and support the annual audit, liaising and meeting the requirements of external auditor partners.
Manage the cash/working capital planning day to day.
Monitor companys monthly AR activities.
Manage Annual Budget process and provide quarterly forecast updates.
Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Person
Specification: A minimum of 5 years experience working in financial management.
ACCA/CIMA accountancy qualification or a degree level qualification in Accountancy and Finance.
Excellent working knowledge of Sage 200 Accounts and Excel.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, under minimal supervision.
Comfortable performing everyday transactional tasks alongside the strategic tasks that this role will dictate.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
