We are looking for a Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor to support our experienced team and develop the skills needed to become a fully qualified Vehicle Damage Assessor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and build a career within the automotive repair industry.
What You’ll Do
- Work alongside experienced Assessors to learn how to produce accurate repair estimates in line with industry standards.
- Gain knowledge of Work Provider contracts and build positive working relationships.
- Develop communication skills by liaising with engineers, customers, and colleagues in a professional and approachable manner.
- Keep customers updated on estimates and any changes, ensuring excellent service throughout.
- Undertake training to stay up to date with repair methods, vehicle technologies, and safety standards.
- Record accurate notes and updates within our management systems.
- Support customer service and parts departments when needed.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Proactively suggest improvements to processes and workflows.
