Responsibilities include:
- Work to times and standards as dictated by Thatcham, insurance company guidelines, manufacturers' standards, and company policy.
- Perform a test weld when welding and retain results until repairs are complete.
- Repair all areas of damage using body filler and finish using a 180-grade production paper.
- Maintain good housekeeping by ensuring panels that are removed are not left in hazardous positions and all general waste is disposed of in the areas or receptacles provided.
- Ensure that the vehicle is protected from further damage during all stages of repair.
- Report any parts that are found to be damaged, or are damaged during the repair process or removal, to the Estimator and Production Manager immediately.
Ideally, you will be an IMI/ATA qualified Panel Technician with strong Bodyshop experience and a strong work ethic to provide the best quality service. A full UK driving licence is also preferred.
