Join The Vella Group, one of the UK's leading accident repair specialists with over 30 years of experience. We are looking for a skilled MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician to join our expanding team in Peterborough.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision and care.
- Performing four-wheel alignment checks and repairs using manufacturer-recommended methods.
- Ensuring vehicles are properly protected throughout the repair process.
- Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient workflows.
- Adhering to health and safety standards, including COSHH requirements and appropriate PPE usage.
- Working with electric vehicles and staying updated on emerging vehicle technologies.
About You
- IMI/ATA MET Technician qualification (or equivalent experience in a Bodyshop environment).
- Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds.
- A full UK driving licence (required).
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge and/or experience working with electric vehicles is a plus.
