Join The Vella Group, one of the UK's leading accident repair specialists with over 30 years of experience. We are looking for a skilled MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician to join our expanding team in Peterborough.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision and care.
  • Performing four-wheel alignment checks and repairs using manufacturer-recommended methods.
  • Ensuring vehicles are properly protected throughout the repair process.
  • Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Adhering to health and safety standards, including COSHH requirements and appropriate PPE usage.
  • Working with electric vehicles and staying updated on emerging vehicle technologies.

About You

  • IMI/ATA MET Technician qualification (or equivalent experience in a Bodyshop environment).
  • Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds.
  • A full UK driving licence (required).
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with electric vehicles is a plus.
