The overview of the Valet role is to clean the interior and exterior of vehicles before repair and upon completion of repair. The aim is to give the customer that “WOW” factor when they receive their repaired vehicle. Occasionally, the successful candidate may also be required to drive cars back to the customer.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out valeting operations to the agreed method and highest standard.
- Clean vehicles within the given time frame.
- Maintain good housekeeping; all general waste is to be disposed of in the areas or receptacles provided.
- Keep solvents and cleaning fluids in order and closed when not in use.
- Keep the valeting area clean and free from sources of ignition.
- When working inside the vehicle with cleaning solvents, ensure proper ventilation.
- Wear protective clothing including eye protection and gloves.
- Before using steam or water pressure cleaners, check equipment for defects and report any issues, paying particular attention to power leads.
- Occasionally, you may be required to hand over courtesy cars to customers, fully explain controls, and complete vehicle condition check sheets. General cleaning duties are also required.
- Assist the driving team with dropping off vehicles as needed.

- Ideally have previous valeting or detailing experience.
