The Role
As a Lead Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, fair, and fully justified repair assessments in line with the latest methodologies. You’ll serve as a key point of contact between engineers, customers, colleagues, and technicians, ensuring smooth communication and a consistent, high-quality service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce precise, right-first-time repair assessments
- Maintain expert knowledge of Audatex and develop/maintain strong skills in E-Scribe
- Build a solid understanding of insurer and customer contracts
- Accurately record actions and communications within the company management system
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes, quality, and efficiency
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
About You
We’re looking for a professional who is:
- Experienced as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator
- Proficient in Audatex (E-Scribe experience desirable)
- Highly organised with excellent time-management skills
- A confident communicator, able to collaborate effectively across teams and with customers
- Adaptable, flexible, and committed to continuous improvement
