We’re now looking for a skilled MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician to join our expanding team in Preston.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Dismantling and reassembling mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision and care
- Performing four-wheel alignment checks and repairs using manufacturer-recommended methods
- Ensuring vehicles are properly protected throughout the repair process
- Collaborating with Technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, and Production teams to ensure efficient workflows
- Adhering to health and safety standards, including COSHH requirements and appropriate PPE usage
- Working with electric vehicles and staying updated on emerging vehicle technologies
About You
We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team environment. Ideally, you’ll have:
- IMI/ATA MET Technician qualification (or equivalent experience in a Bodyshop environment)
- Proven experience in accident repair and vehicle rebuilds
- A full UK driving licence (required)
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Knowledge and/or experience working with electric vehicles is a plus
