The role involves joining our fast-paced and evolving Extrusion department as an Experienced Extrusion Operator. As a key member of the team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our extrusion lines, producing high-quality VEKA and Halo profiles that meet strict industry standards. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in plastic extrusion, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high production standards.
You will take responsibility for operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion lines, ensuring efficiency, quality, and minimal downtime.
What you'll do:
- Operate and oversee extrusion lines, ensuring smooth start-up, shutdown, and efficient running.
- Carry out raw material and product changes, maintaining high efficiency and minimal downtime.
- Ensure rigorous cleaning and maintenance of extrusion lines during changeovers.
- Monitor product quality in line with QS/ETS standards and make real-time adjustments as required.
- Diagnose and rectify machine faults to maintain optimal production output.
- Work collaboratively with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Follow health & safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
What you'll need:
- Proven experience as an Extrusion Operator in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of extrusion processes, machine operation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to work a 4-shift system of 12-hour shifts: Days (7am-7pm) & Nights (7pm-7am).
