The role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced
Engineering Manager to provide end-to-end engineering leadership across the site, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of all manufacturing assets through a structured engineering strategy, technical authority, and delivery of long-term improvement.
You'll drive reliability, continuous improvement, maintenance excellence, and capital investment projects while developing a high-performing engineering team focused on delivering sustainable results.
As a leader within the business, you'll champion VEKA's values through strong teamwork, ownership, respect, and a commitment to continuous improvement, helping to shape the future success of the site.
What you'll do
- Develop and deliver the site's engineering strategy, technology roadmap, and technical standards to support business objectives and future growth.
- Lead asset lifecycle management, reliability engineering, and maintenance excellence to maximise manufacturing performance and OTIF delivery.
- Own the engineering capital investment programme, identifying, justifying, and delivering projects that improve capability, efficiency, and return on investment.
- Drive engineering contribution to operational performance through data-led problem solving, continuous improvement, and process optimisation.
- Build, develop, and structure a high-performing engineering organisation with clear accountability, capability development, and succession planning.
- Ensure robust engineering governance, regulatory compliance, and technical leadership while contributing as a key member of the Site Leadership Team.
