We are looking to expand our Fleet Support Technician Team – join Team TVG now! Are you an Experienced Field Based Auto Electrical Engineer/Installation Engineer looking for a new challenge?
Location: North West Based – Your jobs will be predominantly scheduled from your home address and you will be paid door to door. On occasion you may be required to travel outside this radius and assist with further afield calls.
As a Fleet Support Engineer at TVG, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Professionally install and service all TVG products following company installation practices and procedures.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of work scope and completion using company-issued electronic devices.
- Maintain accurate records of all kit utilised, logging against relevant jobs, and adhering to the company returns procedure.
- Engage in extensive communication with TVG Service Desk Manager/Coordinators and Line Manager to provide updates and coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Represent TVG in a customer-facing role, leveraging excellent communication skills to address client needs and concerns effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record on 12v & 24v vehicles.
- Minimum of two years' experience within the vehicle installation industry.
- Good communication skills and computer literate.
- Availability to work one weekend day per month as overtime.
Training: Full induction training will be provided at our HQ in North Yorkshire.
Salary: £37,000 per annum
