The Business Transformation Team is at the heart of UKPI's enterprise change, driving alignment across business units to visualize priorities, enable strategic objectives, and foster operational resilience and commercial efficiency. The team empowers teams with agile governance, balancing short-term focus with long-term vision to deliver measurable value across silos while retaining bottom-up ownership within streams and peers. We are seeking a strategic leader to own and evolve the central control framework for portfolio delivery. This role is pivotal in translating strategy into an executable change portfolio, ensuring disciplined execution and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Translate strategic priorities into annual and multi-year change roadmaps, ensuring a unified prioritized portfolio of change initiatives.
- Act as executive sponsor for key programmes (e.g. Platform Modernisation, Regulatory Data), maintaining senior team alignment.
- Oversee standardized governance reporting and financial controls including RAID management.
- Coordinate delivery across technology operations and business lines, bridging strategy and execution to ensure traceability of requirements to benefits.
- Monitor delivery performance and benefit realisation, operating stage-gate and benefit-tracking processes.
- Develop and present MI packs for ExCo and Board, providing clear visibility of progress, trade-offs, and opportunities.
- Establish and maintain the change taxonomy, ensuring alignment with Offer Platform and Technology strategies.
- Ensure business readiness and alignment with the Target Operating Model, integrating change across the organization.
- Drive a culture of disciplined execution and continuous improvement, leveraging business partners, product managers, and teams to align change with business priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in business transformation portfolio management or a related leadership role.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable change portfolios and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex multi-year change initiatives.
- Expertise in governance frameworks, financial controls, and benefit realization.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels and across business lines.
- Strong analytical reporting and communication skills with experience producing executive-level materials.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
