Key Responsibilities
- Trade
Execution: Negotiate and execute high yield and fixed income tangential securities (high yield bonds, credit futures, interest rate futures, CDS indices) with the sole objective of achieving best execution.
Acts as a liaison with outside bond vendors, develops and maintains strategic relationships with security dealers.
Contribute to the ongoing electronification of fixed income markets.
- Portfolio
- Management
Support: Acts as backup in investment decision‑making function to the portfolio manager.
Monitor daily liquidity, credit exposures and fund positioning.
Ensure compliance with fund guidelines.
Assist with flows and ETF creation/redemption requests.
Suggest actionable relative value opportunities or assist in developing systematic capabilities to do so.
- Research & Analysis: Develops strategies to contribute to performance through efficient execution and quantitative research.
- Product Growth: Participate in product development initiatives for new UCITS high‑yield offerings.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or progress toward CFA preferred.
- Minimum of five years related work experience, including experience trading high‑yield markets.
- Extensive knowledge of trading venues and platforms.
- Proficiency in a coding language e. g. Python strongly preferred.
