As a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, project managers and business leaders, you will play a key role in turning complex challenges into practical, value-driven solutions. Your initial focus will be a strategically important Know Your Customer (KYC) programme, working across Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Technology and the broader business to help define requirements, solve problems and drive delivery. In this role you will:

  • Partner closely with Project and Senior Project Managers to support the successful delivery of change initiatives through business analysis, requirements gathering, current and future state assessments, risk management, delivery assurance and issue resolution.
  • Find and propose creative ways to solve problems and work closely with internal and external teams to evaluate business opportunities, documenting requirements and areas for improvement.
  • Analyse business processes, systems, data and operating models to identify dependencies, assess impacts and support the design and implementation of effective business solutions.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to develop and maintain project documentation, artefacts and deliverables required to support successful project execution.
  • Align to the project manager to be an advocate for change, by clearly articulating the benefits and promoting acceptance, across functional team members and leadership teams, of ‘to-be’ models and frameworks.
  • Be able to estimate effort for requirement elicitation and analysis across projects.
  • Ensure all analysis, deliverables and recommendations align with business objectives and Vanguard's change management standards, frameworks and methodologies.
  • Define and document the requirements for system integrations and assist in implementing solutions.

What it takes:

  • Demonstrable experience in using tools, data analysis, documentation and strategic problem solving to successfully progress projects to completion.
  • Previous experience in the wealth industry ideally KYC, AML, Client Onboarding or Financial Crime programmes is beneficial but not required.
  • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communications skills, able to influence and negotiate whilst showing business judgment and work ethic.
  • Diligence with strong organisational, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects and manage competing priorities.
