Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include medicine reconciliation, audit support, and patient communications, which contribute to patient safety and service efficiency, involve almost every aspect of medicines management.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Services or equivalent. Completion of a GPhC approved integrated competency and knowledge-based qualification. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council is required. Good GCSEs and A level result.
Experience
- Experience of dealing with vulnerable patients
- Experience of working in GP practice or primary care
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
