We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team. Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Headteachers to support children’s learning, both individually and in small groups, ensuring access to high-quality, inclusive education.
- Deliver planned lessons confidently, support children with a range of needs, and foster a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues across GLF Schools and participate in professional development opportunities within a wider network of professionals.
What we are looking for (Qualifications and Skills)
- Hold relevant qualifications, including GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above and an HLTA qualification.
- Experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils’ emotional and academic development.
- Strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children and parents.
- Motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

- Salary: GLF Specialist Point 1 – 16 (£27,061 – £30,791 FTE). Actual salary: £12,480.89 – £14,201.22
