The Role

Working as part of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for running various sections within multiple kitchens across the resort ensuring the highest quality of food and standards are upheld. The role requires flexibility to work 5 days per week early mornings for the breakfast shift.

About You

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in preparing all types of food including buffets, afternoon teas, bar food, banqueting, and a La Carte menu for our AA rôsette restaurant. Previous experience of working within a kitchen environment is required. An understanding of Food Health & Safety, including HACCP and allergens controls within a food production environment is essential.

The Vale Resort, part of the Leekes Group of Companies, has been operating since 1999 and is the official hotel and training venue for the Wales national rugby and football teams. The four-star resort delivers five-star service levels and comprises a 143-bedroom hotel with five food outlets, two championship golf courses, and Wales’ largest spa, health, and racquets club. Recent expansion of the resort now includes newly developed Hensol Castle comprising of 20 bedrooms and extensive wedding and conference business.
