Practise at the Top of Your Scope
We are looking for an experienced podiatrist with an MSK specialism to join The Vale Clinic — a well‑equipped, structured practice where clinical excellence and a healthy working environment go hand in hand.
About The Vale Clinic
Built for Clinicians Who Want to Do Their Best Work
The Vale Clinic was founded in 2018 by Ronke Tinker with a simple belief: patients deserve thorough, thoughtful care — not rushed appointments and production‑line medicine. We are now an established, growing podiatry clinic in Wokingham seeing 300+ patients each month, with a strong rehabilitation and MSK focus. Our systems, diary structure, and admin support are designed so clinicians can concentrate on clinical reasoning, patient outcomes and long‑term care — without taking work home or feeling constantly behind. Appointment lengths and buffers are structured to support quality care and protected note‑writing time. We have invested in the equipment, pathways, and team that make high‑level podiatric practice possible — and we are looking for a clinician who wants to use them.
The Role
A Broad Clinical Role with MSK Leadership Opportunity
You will manage your own structured caseload across general podiatry, nail surgery, biomechanics, gait analysis, custom orthotics and MSK rehabilitation within podiatric scope. There is an established MSK pathway in place, including gait analysis, pressure mapping, orthotic provision and shockwave therapy. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high‑quality MSK care within a structured, well‑supported clinical framework. We run a calm, well‑organised clinic with clear protocols, protected note‑writing time and full administrative support. You will be trusted to manage your caseload professionally within agreed clinical frameworks — and supported to grow.
Clinical Environment
The Tools to Do the Job Properly
We have invested in equipment that makes a genuine difference to clinical outcomes — and that will mean something to an experienced MSK podiatrist:
- Advanced treadmill‑based gait analysis for detailed biomechanical assessment during walking and running.
- Gait in Motion Pressure Mapping - Dynamic foot pressure assessment to inform orthotic prescription and treatment planning.
- Shockwave Therapy - Evidence‑based treatment for chronic MSK conditions including plantar fasciitis and tendinopathy.
- On‑site ultrasound diagnostics — with real scope to develop your USS skills as part of this role.
What We Offer
A Package That Reflects Your Value
We have designed a package that rewards experience, encourages growth, and is built for the long term:
- Salary: £45,000 – £53,000 DOE, reviewed at 6 months
- Performance Bonus: After 6 months, you will be eligible to earn 25–30% of revenue generated above your agreed monthly target. Targets are set collaboratively and reviewed regularly to ensure fairness and sustainability.
- CPD Budget: Up to £2,000 annually with 3–5 days protected CPD time
- Annual Leave: 28 days including bank holidays, increasing to 32 days after 3 years
- Sick Pay: Company sick pay after probation
- Admin & Ops Support: Full team in place so you can focus on patient care
- Progression: Real scope to contribute to and further develop our established MSK pathway as the clinic grows.
Who We Are Looking For
The Right Fit
We are looking for someone who is HCPC registered with substantial post‑graduate experience across the breadth of podiatric practice with confidence managing both routine and complex presentations — general podiatry, nail surgery as well as MSK and rehabilitation. An interest in MSK and diagnostic USS is particularly welcome, as is someone who wants to grow clinically and take ownership of a caseload rather than simply work through a list. Beyond the clinical skills, we are looking for someone who shares our values — patient‑centred, professional, and committed to doing good work in a supportive team environment. If you are looking for a role where you can practise and develop your MSK skills, and work within a structured, supportive environment — we would love to hear from you. Even if you are simply exploring your next step, a confidential conversation is welcome.
