Window & Door Installer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window and door installer with joinery experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties aswell as various roofing systems. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work with various materials and tools. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace windows and doors in accordance with specifications and building codes.
• Measure and cut materials to ensure accurate fitting of windows.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure proper installation.
• Perform maintenance on existing windows, including sealing, weatherproofing, and glazing.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in window fitting or a related construction field is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to window installation.
• Knowledge of Joinery, masonry, construction painting, and schematics is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical fitness as the role may involve lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
• A valid driving licence is essential for travel between job sites.
