This is a permanent position; however, we would be open to a secondment opportunity from professional practice settings. We are recruiting to a Senior Lecturer post in Social Work, specifically a social worker who is also qualified as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) and a Best Interest Assessor (BIA). This is an exciting opportunity to join and be part of our growth, development and contribute to the enhancement of our social work courses.

You must be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England. Relevant practice experience as an AMHP and BIA is essential. You will be required to support and contribute to the development of students while you impart your knowledge, love of excellence and inclusive practice to students.

You will undertake the role of Senior Lecturer, which will include the role of Programme Lead of courses, such as the AMHP and BIA. You will contribute to teaching about social work with vulnerable people, across our programmes. You will also contribute expertise across our range of courses in Social Work.
