Our newly created Research and Enterprise Directorate (RED) will drive positive change and significant growth across the University of Wolverhampton and through our engagement with external partners and stakeholders. We have a number of newly established critical roles available in the Directorate and we are ready to invite applications from talented, experienced, ambitious, and enthusiastic colleagues who embody the university values and behaviours: Inclusive, Accountable, Ambitious and Resilient.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with excellent administrative skills and experience working within the HE sector to support the preparations and delivery of KEF, and all related, reporting.
You will need to have excellent communication and social skills as you will be required to work across all faculties and numerous directorates.
You will work closely with the Head of Knowledge and Exchange and Associate Director Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise to collate data for KEF assessments and related reports, including HEIF, HE-BCI and the KEF Concordat.
You will coordinate and support relevant management and governance committees, acting as secretary where required. You will also provide advice and guidance to a wide range of stakeholders within the university on matters relating to the KEF.
We are looking for someone with a high level of emotional intelligence who has the ability to develop strong working relationships with staff at all levels across the University to ensure quality service delivery, demonstrating political awareness, diplomacy and tact. You will have accuracy and attention to detail; strong administrative, organisational and time management skills; ability to organise and prioritise a varied and demanding workload and excellent numeracy skills and the ability to check and manage complex data. In addition, you will have proven ability to interpret and communicate complex guidelines and an understanding of the KEF assessment and all related reporting such as HEB-CI; experience of interpreting, reporting and presenting data; proven analytical and problem-solving capability and excellent communication skills.
