The University of South Wales, Faculty of Life Science and Education is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Medicines Management/Independent Prescribing. This person will play a key role in delivering high quality teaching, assessment and academic leadership across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, and innovative individual, with a strong background in pharmacy. The individual will join an existing team of academic staff, lead and deliver medicines management and non-medical prescribing. The post holder will contribute specialist expertise in medicines management and non-medical prescribing ensuring that learning is evidence based and aligned with regulatory and professional standards.
The post holder must have post-registration professional pharmacy experience, hold a non-medical prescribing qualification and have experience of facilitating the learning and assessment of students, an understanding of contemporary prescribing practices and current healthcare higher education, and have active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
