USW Therapy at The University of South Wales is seeking an Administrator to support the delivery and development of TalkingZone, a School Based Counselling service in partnership with Newport City Council. The role will take place on the Newport campus for part of the week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day‑to‑day administration of the TalkingZone service.
- Coordinate scheduling, record keeping and reporting for counselling sessions.
- Support the development of service procedures and documentation.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the team through strong organisational and time‑management skills.
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with university or college administration settings.
- Competence with Office 365, including SharePoint and Excel.
Employment Details
This is a part‑time post (Grade C, Spine 14) – 0.40 FTE (14.8 hrs /week, 2.5 days). It is funded by Newport City Council and the contract ends on 31 July 2026, subject to a successful probationary period. Successful external candidates will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales.
