Overview
Senior Technician (Architectural Model Making) role at The University of Salford. We are seeking a motivated and capable Senior Technician (Architectural Model Making) to join our Sustainable Built and Natural Environments team.
We are particularly interested to hearing from candidates with knowledge and experience of working in digital fabrication, wood and metal workshops and workshop health and safety. The role holder requires skills in demonstrating and facilitating the learning experience as well as specialist techniques, such knowledge and skilled in using workshop machinery (e.g. circular and chop saws, CNC milling machines, lathes, laser cutters, and more). The culture and ethos of the post is directed towards applying out of the box thinking to problem solving and team working.
