The Library, Careers & Enterprise team at the University of Salford is seeking to recruit an Operations Coordinator who will work across the department to help us to be as effective and efficient as possible so that we can deliver an exceptional service that makes a real difference for our students, graduates, colleagues, and external communities.
We are looking for someone with strong numeracy and data skills, proven experience of collecting, analysing and presenting data, and a proactive approach to improving processes and service delivery.
Responsibilities and Skills
The Operations Coordinator supports the Director and the leadership team by coordinating a range of essential operational and strategic activities including:
- Strategic planning
- Business continuity and risk management
- HR processes
The focus is on service evaluation and reporting, and on identifying and implementing process improvements. They work with colleagues across the department to support delivery of a variety of cross-departmental and institutional processes, initiatives and projects, contributing to a highly effective, efficient, and collegial service.
