The Role
The Dean of the Medical School will provide visionary leadership, driving excellence in teaching, research, and clinical engagement. Reporting to the Executive Dean, this senior role oversees strategic planning, resource management, and stakeholder engagement, while fostering a collegial and high-performing culture. The Dean will lead a diverse team, maintain strong relationships with hospitals, health departments, and professional bodies, and champion innovation and continuous improvement across all aspects of the School’s operations.

We are seeking a distinguished medical leader motivated to inspire and shape the future academic activities of the Medical School. With specialist qualifications, complemented by a PhD or MD by research, the ideal candidate will have a globally recognised track record in research and clinical excellence. This is a unique opportunity to lead a diverse, high-performing team, drive innovation in teaching and research, and build strategic partnerships across academia, industry, government, and professional bodies. Experience in driving teaching and research excellence, and managing finance, operations, and human resources is essential.
