We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people who take pride in their work and have excellent customer service skills. Based at the University Park Campus, your main duties include:
- Providing both planned and reactive cleaning service
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Cleaning a wide range of areas such as offices, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells
- Supporting the local cleaning team with covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning and any urgent requests/inquiries assigned by the line manager
You will have a positive and energetic approach and be a colleague that the team looks forward to working with, building strong relationships with others to accomplish tasks and shared goals. You will have a keen eye for detail and aim to deliver exceptional operational service and standards at all times, especially during demanding and busy service times. Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment is desirable. Full training will be given.
Positions Available:
- Weekday M-F Post: 15 hours per week (5 days/shifts per week/3 hours each day, mainly Monday to Friday), working between the hours 6.00pm and 9.00pm. Flexibility required.
- Weekend S-S Posts: 6 hours per week (2 shifts per week/3 hours each day, mainly Saturday and Sunday), working between the hours 6.00am and 9.15am. Flexibility required.
These are permanent positions on a rolling contract, required to be worked throughout the full year (52 weeks), to include out-of-term/student vacation periods. For the days worked over the weekend there is an additional 20% pay for hours worked over the weekend.

The successful candidates for these positions will be expected to attend statutory training courses and any refresher training required by the department. There are planned training courses throughout the year with options to attend either during a typical week, Monday to Friday, or on set weekend dates within the year.
