The Health Service, University of Melbourne is seeking expressions of interest from potential full-time or several part-time GPs (minimum of 4 sessions per week), providing primary health care services to the University of Melbourne community.
Located in the heart of Carlton, just off the Lygon Street Cafe precinct, this very busy, inclusive and high-quality practice offers GPs excellent earning opportunities as well as full consideration to work life balance. Our operating hours are from 8.45 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
This well-equipped and highly regarded practice is supported by proficient full-time nursing and administration staff and works closely with the onsite mental health team comprising psychologists, psychiatrists and a mental health nurse and the University Counselling Service. The Health Service is accredited against the 5th Edition RACGP standards through AGPAL.
Who we are looking for: GPs with special interests and skills in mental health, sexual health, travel medicine, shared care and minor procedural work would be well suited. Expressions of interest from internal University of Melbourne employees are welcome.
Please note: You must have current valid work rights for Australia and be eligible to work without restriction in a MM1 area as a specialist general practitioner (vocationally registered).
