Overview

Student Success and Development Coordinator (Student Partnership and WIT) – The University of Manchester. We have an exciting opportunity to be part of the team responsible for developing and delivering the University’s Student Partner Programme and its Welcome offer. This role sits within the Student Success and Development team, which is responsible for a range of enhancement activities for students.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and support Student Partners (SPs), a team of casual student staff who work in equal partnership with university staff to deliver initiatives and projects to benefit the student experience.
  • Build relationships with staff and students across the University of Manchester and seek out new opportunities to develop the Student Partner Programme.
  • Coordinate and deliver Welcome initiatives, such as the AskMe Ambassador Scheme, and provide event management and support.

Qualifications

  • Background in working with young people with a good knowledge of engagement.
  • Well organized with strong project and event management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience delivering training and workshops.
  • Significant experience developing effective working relationships with a range of partners and a strong commitment to working with students.
  • Team-focused and flexible approach to work.
