Research Associate in Cancer Cell Biology
The group led by Prof. Angeliki Malliri (https://research.manchester.ac.uk/en/persons/angeliki.malliri) offers an exciting opportunity for a laboratory-based Research Associate until June 2028, starting January 2026. The successful appointee will work on a project funded by Northwest Cancer Research investigating mechanisms of plasticity in Small Cell Lung Cancer.
Requirements: good knowledge of Small Cell Lung Cancer biology, Small GTPase signalling and mechanisms of phenotypic plasticity; experience in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and high-resolution and high-throughput microscopy techniques.
The role will allow development of skills in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, imaging and data analysis, and will involve conducting individual and collaborative research projects on Small Cell Lung Cancer. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to present data at conferences.
